Meeting Information

Monthly -2^nd Thursday Evening

Meeting times are usually @ 6:30 pm at the Roscoe United Methodist Church or at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, both located in Coshocton. However, there are months when we do meet at a member’s home for a garden tour or when we have a field trip, which might be at an earlier time.

The Town and Country Garden Club is a group of Coshocton area folks who enjoy gardening – planting, growing, and tending to flowers, plants, vegetables, shrubs, and trees. We like to learn together and share new gardening ideas and techniques. Many members also like to experiment with arranging fresh and dried flowers and plants to make various arrangements for submission at the Coshocton County Fair every September. Each year, we have a Plant Sale on the first Saturday in May at the Coshocton Farmer’s Market, and we also work on service projects that help beautify and support the Coshocton community.

Our club’s program theme: Preserving, conserving, and artistically sharing nature’s beauty, now and for future generations.

Our club’s Pledge: I give my pledge as an American to save and faithfully defend from waste, the natural resources of my country, its materials, its soil, its forest, and wildlife; and to put forth every effort for its civic beautification.
