We will be delving into the Abstract!
On both mornings of Friday and Saturday, June Gebhardt, an expert designer and exceptional instructor will train us in the use of shapes, colors and forms to
“create that which is not meant to depict reality”!
Explore ideas and emotions in a conceptual way.
Expand your visual language and let your mind run free!!

***********Learn Horticulture from OAGC Experts Instructors**********
On Friday, train with Michael Hoepf, on “Growing and Showing Hemerocallis”, ending the class schedule with Pam Bennett who will guide us through Plant Identification at the Springfield Snyder Park, weather permitting. Then enjoy and browse the park before dinner.

Register and spend 7pm-9pm Friday, with Naomi Ormes instructing the evening Design Study Class using plant material provided, see registration form. Bring clippers, scissors, and/or a floral knife and your design tool kit. Class is limited to 22 people.

On Saturday, continue creative design study with June Gebhardt and then join Mary Lee Minor who will visually create Table Settings, explaining different Functional, Exhibition Type 1 and 2, and other Traditional Table Settings. Explore “Growing and Showing Lilies” with Juanita Wilkins followed by Julie Divelbiss giving us tips on “Growing and Showing prize Fruits and Vegetables”. End the day helping setup the schedule for the 2026 School and Flower Show.
