The Granville Garden Club invites you to celebrate the moments that make our lives unique with them during their 78th Annual Show and Sale, April 12th and 13th at Bryn Du Mansion. The theme “A Wonderful Life” will be presented through floral arrangements designed by the garden club members. In addition, dozens of varieties of daffodil specimens will be exhibited and bulbs can be ordered for fall pick up or delivery.
“A Wonderful Life will show the special moments that we have or experience in our lifetimes. Our arrangements will interpret the milestones and highlight snapshots of our fond memories and experiences, ” said event chairperson, Rose Wingert.
Guests will enjoy strolling through the historical home, viewing arrangements composed from flowers sourced from the gardens of members and friends and can enjoy live music by harpist Olivia Claggett on Saturday and musician Barefoot McCoy on Sunday.
The Granville Garden Club was founded in 1931 and the Annual Daffodil Show and Sale began in 1944. It was originally held at the Granville Public Library, but eventually found a home at the elegant and historic Bryn Du Mansion just outside the Village of Granville. The Annual Daffodil Show and Sale is the garden club’s primary fundraiser and all proceeds support scholarships for local students, community beautification, and conservation awareness. The event is made possible with support from the Granville Arts Commission.
Admission and parking are free, children are welcome, and the event is handicap accessible. The event hours are noon – six p.m. on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13. Bryn Du Mansion is located at 537 Jones Rd. NE, Granville, Ohio. We hope to see you there!
